  • Job Description:

    OCO After School provides youth with experiential learning opportunities that encourage the development of 21st century skills, in a safe and welcoming environment. This position provides leadership and ensures quality services are provided to participating youth.

    DUTIES:

    • Plan and lead daily group and recreational activities
    • Observe program staff; and take an active role in staff meetings and trainings
    • Assure consistent, non-judgmental services using a youth development approach is provided
    • Assist with enrollment and parent engagement
    • Assess the physical and emotional well-being of participants, address issues ensuring health and safety

    Requirements:

    • Desire to work with youth and an understanding of Youth Development.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with others in a warm, non-judgmental manner and be a positive role model for youth and staff
    • Knowledge of community services and resources

    *Position to start 9/12/2022*

    Part-Time 30 hours per week – 37 weeks per year

    Monday through Friday – Noon to 6 pm
