Position Overview:
We are looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Group Leaders to work with students in grades K-8 to assist Activity specialists with homework help, recreational activities, lesson implementation, overall supervision and ensuring the wellbeing of participants and the program environment. We are looking for team members who can support diverse and comprehensive activities that highlight life skills and soft skills for youth. The ideal candidate is passionate about youth development and is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where students can grow as confident and capable young leaders.
This position will be a part of our Youth and Family Services offered at Sunnyside Community Services, which includes a pre-kindergarten program, after-school programs for elementary and middle school students, high school job readiness, career readiness, and enrichment programming as well as adult and immigrant Services.
Responsibilities:
Hourly rate: $17.00 – $18.00
Operating Hours: Monday – Friday 2PM-6PM work schedules may vary.
