Hourly Range: $18-20 (commensurate with experience)
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday (12:00pm-5:00pm); Friday (8:00am-6:00pm)
Weekly Hours/ Week: 29
Tentative Duration: Monday, June 22, 2026-Friday, August 7, 2026

Group Leaders are dynamic youth workers committed to working with the program team to deliver high quality, academically aligned arts, performance arts, sports, and/or STEM instruction to elementary, middle, or high school youth from the framework of positive youth development and social emotional literacy. This is a wonderful opportunity if you love working with children, in afterschool programs, summer programs and special projects.
Group Leaders assist Activity Specialists and/or Teaching Artists in all areas of programming from helping to maintain the safety and security of the children during program time, assisting in facilitating groups, following lesson plans as well as following the program’s administrative procedures and policies.
We’re looking for a reliable and energetic group leader who can build strong relationships with students, manage a group effectively, and support daily program operations with consistency and care.
