  • Job Description:

    Serving students in grades 2-5, our Wednesday afternoon Gesher program provides the perfect bridge between a child’s time at school and the start of our Religious School instruction. Students are free to use their time during Gesher as they wish (e.g. doing homework, reading, socializing, running around on the playground), as long as they are being safe, treating each other nicely, and treating property with respect.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Greeting students as they arrive
    • Checking attendance and immediately reporting discrepancies to the Director of Education and Youth Programming
    • Serving snack
    • Ensuring student safety
    • Engaging students in conversations and activities
    • Assisting with homework

     

    The ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys being with children of multiple ages and is able to effectively take care of multiple children at a time. This position is for 2-4 pm on Wednesdays when school is in session and the salary is $18 per hour.

  • Required Skills/Experience:

    Experience working with multiple children at a time or 2nd-5th graders a plus.
