<div><b>READ 718 is a nonprofit literacy organization in Brooklyn, NY that aims to </b><b>provide after school tutoring and literacy workshops to students in grades 3-8 that are reading below grade level and also come from low-income households</b>. We pair volunteer tutors and train them in our curriculum so that they can work with our participants one-on-one and provide them with high-quality reading instruction for low-to-no cost.</div>

<div>Our Fall Cycle runs from September 22nd - December 10th, 2026 and we are still looking for volunteers for<b> mainly our remote tutoring program</b> and for <b>subs or part-time tutors for our in-person sessions</b> in Bed-Stuy and Boerum Hill. We have hour-long sessions that occur twice a week on Mondays &amp; Wednesdays or Tuesdays &amp; Thursdays from 4-5pm, 4:30-5:30pm, 5-6pm, and 5:30-6:30pm.
