  • Job Description:

    STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) Specialist- The STEAM
    Specialist will be responsible for implementing the organization’s social action
    curriculum and having it reflect a multimedia approach with deliverables designed
    by youth in the program. The STEAM Specialist must be competent in the following
    areas:
    ● Experience in classroom management and youth development
    ● Strong Communication Skills and Initiative
    ● Competency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Google SketchUp,
    Microsoft Office, Virtual Reality , DJ Facilitation
    ● Must be flexible and open to learning new technologies
    ● An understanding of 3D-Printing and Digital Media a plus
    ● Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science minimum
    ● Creative Individual
    ● Must be able to engage youth and have high expectations of all children
    enrolled in the program
    ● Must have online portfolio reflecting work
    ● This position requires individuals to be fingerprinted, conduct a background
    check and be vaccinated.
    This is a 9-15 hour a week position after-school 2-6PM
    3 hours of paid planning time.
