Serving under-resourced children, youth and families in Western New York, our comprehensive Children & Youth Services Department provides educational, social, emotional, and wellness services. Programs promote school success, family and community involvement, and reflect the cultural diversity of our participants.

    YWCA WNY programs work collaboratively with families, schools, and community partners to ensure that our children and families are connected with necessary resources and provided the opportunity to reach their full potential.

    Position Summary: The primary purpose of the Project Director is to oversee the day-to-day operations of YWCA WNY 21stCCLC programs. This includes implementation and adherence to licensing regulations and standards set by regulatory agencies. The Director is responsible for development and implementation of all programming and ensures regulations are met and managed through collection and reporting of necessary data. The Director oversees all staff training, supervision and professional development. The Director is the primary liaison between YWCA WNY and School administration, teachers, support staff, and families. The Director must be able to provide program support when necessary to ensure ratio requirements. The Director is a dynamic person who is able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential. COVID Vaccination REQUIRED

  • Required Skills/Experience:

    YWCA WNY has a COVID-19 vaccination requirement for staff; as an NYS OCFS-licensed provider, YWCA WNY adheres to NYS Dept of Health COVID requirements

    • Program management: 3 years (Required)
    • youth development: 5 years (Required)
    • supervisory: 1 year (Required)
    • 21st Century Program experience preferred
