  • Minimum Education: ● Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization. ● Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standards for nonprofits. ● Experience preparing for and supporting financial audits. ● Familiarity with multi-grant funder reporting and allocations. ● Experience managing financial records for organizations with budgets of $2M+.

  • Job Description:

    The Part-Time Bookkeeper will support the financial management of the Network
    through accurate and timely recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial
    transactions. This position ensures that the Network’s finances are maintained in
    compliance with nonprofit accounting best practices and funder requirements.
    This role is ideal for someone with significant nonprofit bookkeeping experience who is
    detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently across multiple
    funding streams, including government contracts, private grants, and fee-for-service
    programming.
    This is a part-time, hourly position of 20 hours per week, with some flexibility for
    additional hours during audit and budget preparation periods

  • Required Skills/Experience:

    Required Skills
    ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    ● Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
    ● Demonstrated experience with nonprofit bookkeeping and grant tracking.
    ● Proficiency with QuickBooks, Stripe, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite.
    ● Experience with online accounts payable systems (e.g., Bill.com) and payroll
    platforms (e.g., Paychex).
    ● Ability to communicate effectively with staff, board members, auditors, and external partners.
    ● Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
