  • Job Description:

    Opus Dance Theatre & Community Services, Inc. is seeking dedicated and experienced Group Leaders to support its youth programming at P.S. 80Q – The Thurgood Marshall Magnet School of Multimedia and Communication in Jamaica, Queens.

    Group Leaders provide direct supervision and facilitate engaging educational, arts, enrichment, academic, and youth-development activities for young scholars. Group Leaders help create and maintain a safe, positive, supportive, and engaging program environment.

    Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–6:30 PM

    Pay: $19–$20 per hour, based on experience

    25 positions are available immediately.
  • Required Skills/Experience:

    Candidates should have an interest in education, youth development, the arts, and creating meaningful opportunities for young scholars.

    Some college, an Associate degree, or higher is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to work directly with young people and contribute to a safe, positive, and supportive program environment.
