    Like crafts and tinkering? Enjoy working with kids? Want access to 3D printers, laser cutter and other maker space resources?  Our maker space/ children’s education program has several openings.

    Dazzling Discoveries, our hands-on, project based after school program and Skill Mill NYC, our maker space storefront,  (yes we are one company)  have openings for educators who can work with children and help with various projects.  Access to our equipment is an option to anyone who wants that.

    You would be working with children ages 5-14 on creative science and engineering activities as part of our after school and camp programs in Manhattan. Course content, lesson plans and all materials will be provided for you but we welcome ideas and participation in the curriculum.

  • Required Skills/Experience:

    Teaching degree NOT necessary. We need enthusiastic people who have experience working with groups of children. Must pass a background check. Must be fully vaccinated and provide your vaccination card. Classes are all in Manhattan.  This position is in person and requires some local Manhattan based travel.  Could be part time, full time or a specific time frame residency.  Our facilities are located on the Upper West Side in Manhattan.
