Series for Experienced Line Staff: Effective Facilitation and Group Management

In this workshop, participants will receive an overview of general facilitation skills: Icebreakers/energizers, transitions, leading discussion, effective space usage, movement about room. The session focuses on knowing how to include the aspects that aren’t explicitly stated on a lesson plan but are important for running the lesson effectively. Participants will also learn tips about differentiating instruction, and how to structure groups to maximize learning.
