The COMPASS Site Supervisor is directly involved in all school age and youth programming. The School Age Programs Site Supervisor works directly with FDC’s school age programming to provide support and supervision. The School Age Programs Site Supervisor is a key position in managing the COMPASS after-school program, school age enrichment programs. The position deals with all program operations including daily program implementation, lesson development, and administrative tasks and being a role model to counselors/unit leaders.
Be a consistent role model for staff and maintain a standard of high energy and morale within the programming.
Work together with the Program Director to directly supervise admission and registration of new students.
Assist in enrolling students into our DYCD system.
Collect student attendance daily from each group leader at the end of the day and enter attendance in weekly into the DYCD system.
Submit all weekly attendance sheets to the kitchen Manager every Monday upon arrival.
Provide training, leadership and guidance for counselors.
Be knowledgeable in all aspects of the job, provide operational support for all program logistics including scheduling, space coordination, and payroll, supply ordering, tracking, fundraising and budgeting. Provide administrative organization of all student files and program documents including DOH/DYCD binders and staff files. Support program growth through new program development and revenue streams. Provide a high level of customer service and interaction to parents and families. Build relationships with school personnel. Maintain the organization of all storage areas and equipment inventories. Enforce all safety and program regulations.
