Foundational Series for Line Staff: Behavior Management

To successfully manage groups, practitioners need to understand the underlying causes of common behavior problems. In this foundational workshop, participants will explore these causes, learn developmentally appropriate strategies for managing challenging behaviors and make links to program policies regarding dealing with these behaviors. This session will emphasize the challenges and opportunities that exist in the summer setting.
SACC Training Topics Satisfied: (1) Principles of child development, including appropriate supervision of children; (3) Child day care program development;(5) business record maintenance and management
