College Transfer: A Strategic Approach

This session will explore how afterschool providers can promote the college transfer process as a strategic approach to post-secondary education for their students.

Participants will learn how to assist youth in drawing out the correct pathway for themselves given goals and financial aid limitations. Other considerations will include how to access support programs like CUNY ASAP and CUNY Start, dual admissions programs, choosing the right credentials, and understanding how credits do and don’t transfer.

Coffee/tea provided. Participants are welcome to bring breakfast with them.
Participants will receive certificates upon completion of the training
